ROMEOVILLE, ILL. - At the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Meet, the Maryville men's cross country team took ninth place. Dawson McCown led the Saints over the 8K course with a time of 25:10.27, good for 22nd. The Saints finished with 227 team points.
 
Sam Gleason came home in second for the Saints and 55th overall in 26:06.82, and Justin Brewer was right behind and finished in 26:09.81. Taylor Mason was the next finisher in 26:11.21, while Tucker Hinkle was the Saints fifth-place runner in 26:54.15. Mason Gegg clocked a time of 27:56.30, while Cooper Davidson was Maryville's final runner in 28:28.79.
 
Lewis won the team championship with a team score of 41 points, and LU's Evan Horgan was the race winner in 23:26.27.
