ORLANDO, Fla. – The Maryville women's bowling team opened the 2025-26 season with a ninth-place finish at the Destination Orlando Tournament hosted by Sacred Heart University.
It was a tale of three days for the Saints. In Friday's baker play, Maryville was perfect, winning all five of its matches. However, traditional play on Saturday proved more challenging as the youthful Saints went 2-3. The team bounced back in Sunday's bracket play, winning two straight matches to secure ninth place in the final standings.
Reigning Division II Player and Rookie of the Year
Elizabeth Teuber led the way for Maryville, finishing 28th in a field of 183 competitors.
Caitlyn Johnson, competing in her first tournament with the Saints, placed 44th overall.
