Emma Hoing both hammered down 15 kills apiece as Maryville volleyball rolled to a Senior Day sweep of Illinois Springfield 25-13, 25-22, 25-20. LiberoÂ
Olivia Klump led three Saints in double figures for digs with 19, while
Leslie Longanbach notched five blocks.

How it Happened
Maryville seized control early with a 14-4 surge in the first set, sparked by four kills from Hoing and a series of blocks by Brinkmann and Longanbach. The Saints sided out at 85 percent to cruise to a 25-13 win.

In the second set, Maryville jumped ahead 13-5 after an 8-1 run fueled by three Hoing kills and a Brinkmann ace. UIS battled back behind using a late push to trim the deficit to 22-18 before the Saints steadied themselves. Hoing's kill on set point sealed the 25-22 victory.

Set three featured the tightest play of the night as UIS briefly led 13-10, but Maryville responded with a 9-3 stretch, highlighted by two kills from
Ellie Witthaus and a pair from Brinkmann. Up 21-19, the Saints scored four of the last five points close out the sweep 25-20 on a
Mallory Sell ace at match point.
