Men's Tennis Claims 5-2 Victory at Quincy

QUINCY, ILL. - The Maryville men's tennis team picked up its first victory of spring as the Saints downed Quincy 5-2.
 
The Saints earned the doubles point by taking the matches at No. 2 and No. 3. Juan Suero and Jack Quilty cruised to a 6-1 win, while Michel Delaloye and Diego Alvarez posted a 7-5 decision.
 
In singles play, Delaloye won at the second singles slot by a 7-6, 6-3 score. Suero rallied for a 2-6, 6-1, 10-5 win at No. 3, while Markos Prentits took his match at No. 5 by a 6-0, 7-5 decision. Quilty won at No. 6 6-2, 6-0.
