ST. LOUIS – The Maryville baseball team fell in game four of its series to the UIndy Greyhounds by a lopsided score of 17-5.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints sprinted to a 4-0 lead after the fourth, with
Cole Christman and
Dominic Sharp both grabbing RBIs. But, just like Friday's contest, the Greyhounds punched right back, delivering a five spot in the top of the fifth.
Maryville responded in tow, with
Josh Herget hitting his first home run of the season to bring it to one in the fifth.
Jace Burton was the recipient of some luck in the sixth, tying up the game after some sloppy defense by the Greyhounds.
That was the last tie the game saw, with the visitors plating 12 runs over the final three innings to find the final.
