KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maryville men's soccer suffered its first Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) loss of the season, surrendering two second-half goals to fall to the Rockhurst Hawks 2-1 on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Maryville Saints opened the scoring in the 33rd minute when forward
Sebastian Weitlaner converted a shot at 32:36, giving the Saints a 1-0 lead. The Saints' defense and goalkeeper
Asgrimur Vidisson held strong through the first half, with Vidisson making several key saves.

However, Rockhurst rallied in the second half, scoring twice to overturn the deficit. Maryville was unable to find the back of the net after halftime. The match grew physical late, with the Saints unable to find the equalizer.
