JENNINGS, MO. – In its final regular season tournament of 2026, the Maryville women's golf team finished in ninth place at the UMSL Spring Invitational in a field featuring five ranked squads out of 17 teams. The Saints posted scores of 312-321-320=953.

Kylie Yiengst led the Saints and tied for 27th overall with rounds of 74-80-76-230, including two birdies in round one.
Fernanda Diaz-Pizarro finished second on the team and posted four birdies en route to scores of 76-80-78=234.

Chloe Fong shot 80-90-81=251, while
Maddie Vanderheyden came home at 89-83-85=257.
Kelly Wang scored 82 in the first round and 78 in the second but had to withdraw due to injury in the final round.

Heida Rakel Rafnsdottir of Grand Valley State took medalist honors at 212, and she led GVSU to the team championship at 875.

The Saints are next in action April 17-19 at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship tournament held at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind.
