DALLAS – Brayden Rubel of Maryville baseball, fresh off winning his first career Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Pitcher of the Week honors, Rubel has now been tabbed as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Midwest Region Pitcher of the Week. 

Rubel earned his nod after 6 & 2/3 of scoreless two-hit pitching against the Lewis Flyers. Notably, he was perfect through the first three innings, striking out the first five batters he faced.
