Men’s Soccer Makes Visit to UMSL to End Regular Season

THIS WEEK:
The Maryville men's soccer team makes a visit to the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ Don Dallas Field to end the regular season Wednesday, Oct. 24, in a 7:30 pm start at Don Dallas Field.
               
MORE ON MARYVILLE:
Gus Reinitz leads the Saints (3-14 overall, 3-11 Great Lakes Valley Conference) with four goals and one assist for nine points, while Matt Bearley has registered four goals. Alex Brown has a team-leading three assists, while Zach Bavol has chipped in two assists and one goal. James Hohenstein has played 1,132 minutes with a 1.91 GAA and come up with 45 saves this season. Kyle Leveling has appeared in six games in net with a 2.38 GAA and 22 saves.
                
ABOUT MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS:
The Tritons are 9-6-1 overall, 8-5-1 in the GLVC.  Tyler Collico tops UMSL with six goals and one assist for 13 points, and Chris Pearson is second on the squad with four goals and nine points. Patrick Ream has started every game at goalie for UMSL and has a 0.80 GAA with 62 saves this season.
 
RECAPPING LAST WEEK:
No. 11 Quincy scored two early goals and posted a 4-0 victory Friday evening. In the home finale versus Illinois Springfield, the Saints had a shot ring off the woodwork, and in the second half, the visiting Prairie Stars scored the game’s only goal in the 54th minute to escape with a 1-0 win.
