The Lady Miners scored with 13 seconds left when Toni Knar scored on a jumper in the lane.
Shelby Miller pushed the ball up the right sideline and put up a driving layup. The ball caromed off, and Flynn tracked the ball down and converted for the game winner.

Missouri S&T took the lead again in the second half at 31-28 with 16:44 left. Maryville responded with another 11-0 run to surge again. After two Miller free throws,

Erica Lorton’s inside basket put Maryville up 39-31 with 13:46 to play. The Lady Miners scored to 41-37 but Duethman and Thompson drained back-to-back 3-pointers for a 47-37 advantage midway through the second half. The Saints took their biggest lead of the game 57-46 when Duethman sank a trey from just left of the top of the key to top the 1,000-point plateau for her career. The Saints still led by nine but the Lady Miners put on a rally and tallied 10 straight to take a 61-60 lead with 1:01 remaining, setting the stage for the late-game dramatic finish.
