ABOUT KENTUCKY WESLEYAN
The Panthers are 4-3 overall and the game will be their GLVC opener. KWC has won its last two outings. Lauren Goffinet averages a team-high 11.0 ppg and leads the GLVC in 3-point field goal percentage at 52.4. Karly Rhoads is second at 10.3 ppg and is second in the league in 3-point percentage at 50.0. T’Essence Phelps leads the Panthers in rebounding at 7.4 per contest. KWC is the top 3-point field goal percentage team at 41.4 percent and 3-pointers made per game at 7.6. In the last meeting between the teams, the Saints downed the Panthers 75-62 in the championship game of the 2012 GLVC Tournament.
ABOUT SOUTHERN INDIANA
The Screaming Eagles begin the week unbeaten at 8-0, 0-0 in the GLVC. Anna Hackert averages a team-best 13.0 ppg, leads the league in field goal percentage at 58.3 percent and is tied for fifth in rebounds at 8.3 per game. Stephanie Carpenter leads the GLVC with 3.1 made 3-pointers per game and scores 12.3 ppg. USI leads the conference in scoring offense (83.0 ppg), scoring margin (+29.0), field goal percentage (47.7 percent). Mary O’Keefe is second in shooting at 57.7 percent.
LAST TIME OUT
The Saints had their four-game winning streak end at 2012 NCAA Tournament participant Florida Southern 66-58. Abby Duethman led the Saints with 16 points and five steals. Kate Childs added 13 points, while Shelby Miller chipped in 12 points on four 3-pointers.

FRESH FACES
The Saints have added two veterans to the mix this season. Joining the team are Division I transfers
Kayla Person and
Brittnye McSparron. The duo comes to Maryville from Drake University and both are senior guards.

Senior forward Abby Duethman has moved into second place on the Saints all-time scoring list with 1,257 points and is just 72 points away from the record. Topping the scoring chart is Heather Toma with 1,329 points.
CLEANING THE GLASS
Abby Duethman has moved into seventh place on the all-time rebounding list with 500. She became just the fourth Saint to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds in a career. The only other Saints to reach those milestones are Julie Kellogg, Kim Lesley and Carrie Snyder. Ahead of Duethman in sixth place is Snyder who had 509 boards.
