Powered by a school-record 18 3-pointers, the Maryville women's basketball team shot past Truman State 90-84 Thursday night. Eight different Saints hit at least one trey as Maryville surpassed the previous mark of 16 set against Bellarmine Feb. 4, 2011.

The Saints started quickly as Samantha Robison and Shelby Miller opened the game with consecutive 3-pointers. Holding an 8-4 lead, Joann Thompson hit a jumper to ignite an 8-0 burst. Back-to-back 3-pointers from Hillyer and Brittany Fish gave Maryville a 66-48 lead. Miller's three-point play handed the Saints a seemingly comfortable 72-55 edge with 10 minutes remaining.
