Bellarmine scored the first four points of the night before
Jordynn Martin completed a three-point play to get the Saints on the board. After a BU jumper,
Shelby Miller scored on a layup to pull the Saints to 6-5. The Knights were up 15-9 after a Ringering layup before Bellarmine scored eight straight points. Ringering hit a short jumper as the Saints were down 29-16 but the Knights tallied the final 12 points to push their advantage to 41-16 at halftime.

Miller scored on the first possession of the second half to end the Saints' scoring drought. Bellarmine answered with an 11-2 burst to take its biggest lead of the night. The Saints made one last push and tallied eight straight points. Ringering hit a bucket, and
Danie Shafer added two free throws. After two more at the line by
Carly Frala, Ringering tacked on two more from the free-throw line as the Saints pulled to 62-42. However, that was as close as the Saints would get.

Ringering scored a season-high 16 points to lead the Saints.
Alex Hillyer added 11 points and six rebounds, while Shelby Miller finished with six points and a team-high eight rebounds. Beth Bowers recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Knights.

The Saints slip to 13-10, 7-7 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Knights improve to 12-10 overall, 7-7. Maryville is back in action Saturday as it hosts Southern Indiana at 1 p.m.
