Wisconsin-Parkside results in PDF
Somers, Wis. - In a clash of teams tied for third in the national wrestling rankings as well as a key Great Lakes Valley Conference clash, Wisconsin-Parkside downed Maryville 27-12 Saturday afternoon in Somers, Wis. The Saints prevailed in four of the matches on the day.

Dakota Bauer won his match at 133 with a 7-3 decision to tie the match score at 3-3. However, the Saints had to forfeit at 141 for a 9-3 Rangers' lead.
James Krischke shut out his foe at 149 by a 5-0 count to get the Saints back on the patch. The teams traded wins as UWP won at 158 while
Matt Pratt was victorious at 165 with a narrow 3-2 victory. However, the Rangers notched two falls and one decision to surge ahead.
Donnell Walker prevailed by a 5-2 in the heavyweights but the Saints lost their first GLVC contest.

The Saints return to the mat with two home matches next week. Maryville hosts Truman State Friday, Jan. 27, and welcomes Drury to Moloney Arena Saturday, Jan. 28.
