Summary
The Maryville volleyball team was aiming to hand McKendree its first Great Lakes Valley Conference loss but the Bearcats prevailed in three sets. Set scores were 25-10, 25-15, 25-14 as the hosts won their 12th straight league match.

What Happened
The Saints scored the first point of the match on a block by Allison Lakin and Ashley Selman. McKendree scored the next three points and later used a 5-0 run to take control of the set. Early in set two, Kayla Buxton's assist to Taylor Schellert led to a kill and 4-3 Maryville lead. However, the Bearcats roared ahead by scoring the next nine points and cruised to a 2-0 lead. The Saints scored two of the first three points in set three before McKendree jumped ahead 6-3. The Saints tied the score after a kill by Natalia Pia and her block with Addison Plant to get to 10-10. The Bearcats went on a 5-1 burst and closed out the match.
