What Happened
The Saints trailed 5-2 but roared ahead with a 12-0 burst. Teson hit a jumper to start the run, and
Grant Sims nailed a 3-pointer and a layup.
Robin Thompson scored inside, and a trey by Teson led to the 14-5 advantage. Cedarville finally scored but Bogan drilled a triple and Grant-Clark added a layup for a 19-8 edge. Maryville built its biggest advantage when Grant-Clark hit a 3-pointer, and Teson followed with a jumper for a 37-21 lead. The Yellow Jackets made a run as the Saints took a 44-39 lead at halftime.

Cedarville got as close as one before Grant-Clark scored and Berry added one free throw. The Yellow Jackets eventually took a 54-53 lead but that would be their last edge. Thompson hit two free throws, and Teson sank a 3-pointer. Cedarville closed to 66-64 until Berry scored in the lane and Bogan splashed a 3-pointer for a 71-64 lead at the 6:14 mark. The Saints built a nine-point lead in the final minute to post the first win under new head coach Marc Stricker.
