Summary
The Maryville men's basketball team had its three-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of Central Missouri Saturday afternoon in Warrensburg, Mo. The Mules prevailed 74-56 as contest was the final game of the Fairfield Inn Classic.

What Happened
The Saints were down 8-6 but surged into the lead using an 8-0 run. Marvin Grant-Clark sparked the outburst with a 3-pointer, and Forrester Sims added a jumper. After one Nolan Berry free throw, Casey Teson sank a jumper for a 14-8 Maryville lead. The Saints kept UCM off the scoreboard for nearly five minutes. After the Mules tied the game at 19-all, Robin Thompson scored for a 21-19 Maryville edge. UCM used a 7-0 run to grab a 31-23 at halftime.

Nolan Berry sank two free throws as the Saints pulled to 31-25. Central Missouri pushed its lead up to double digits. Maryville trimmed the deficit to 37-28 on Forrester Sims' 3-pointer but the Saints were not able to get any closer.
