Summary

What Happened
Sims hit the second of back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Saints a 15-12 edge, a lead they would not give up the rest of the way. Nolan Berry threw down a dunk for a 20-13 advantage midway through the half. Casey Teson hit a 3-pointer and a bucket as the Saints grabbed their largest lead of the half at 36-26. Maryville took a 38-33 cushion into the break.
Early in the second half, the Hawks trimmed the Maryville lead to 40-38 before Berry converted a bucket, and Robin Thompson hammered in a dunk. The Saints stretched their advantage to nine points before finally taking a double digit lead at 67-57 on a Sims triple. Maryville put the game away with a late 7-0 burst. Sims sank a 3-pointer, and Thomson threw down a slam. Sims' layup in the final minute put the Saints up 80-63.
