"We are incredibly proud of Iwan and he's a great representative of what it means to be a student-athlete," stated head coach
David Korn. "His success in and off the field is a testament to his focus, grit and sacrifice. As a program, we value family and development. Iwan has been a great leader and is a very selfless teammate who continues to put the team first. During his three years, it's been fun to watch how much he's developed as a man and soccer player. It's not by accident, or any secret how he's reached this point. He has great discipline and been very committed. He dedicates a ton of time to his studies but also his development plan focusing on how he uses the weight room, nutrition, rest, extra work, video review, time in off season, and each practice. We look forward to the next year of preparation and watching as Iwan continues to grow and pursue his goals both on and off the field."
Student-athletes on this year's Scholar All-American Teams will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom at the All-American Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at the Baltimore Convention Center in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
