In its first tournament of the 2020-21 season, the Maryville women's golf team finished ninth at the UIndy Fall Tournament. The Saints posted team scores of 337-344-339=1020 over the three rounds. The tournament was played at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., on a par-72 course that played at 6,202 yards.

Brittany King lowered her score in each round and put up a total of 87-83-82=252 to pace Maryville. Her last 18 holes included one birdie and nine pars to finish 37th. In her final round,
Maxine Nesemeier carded three straight birdies on the front nine and matched her score from round one with a 79, tied for the lowest of the tournament for the Saints, and finished at 254.

Mckenna Chapman was third on the team with rounds of 87-82-86=255.
Maggie King closed her first collegiate tournament at 266 and ranked fourth for the Saints.
Rachael Kell came home with a three-day total of 278.

Host school Indianapolis took the team competition with a final score of 875. UIndy's Cailyn Henderson won medalist honors at 216.

The Saints are next in action at the Flyer Invitational in Lemont, Ill., hosted by Lewis Sept. 28-29.
