At the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational, the Maryville women's golf team finished tied for seventh place in a field of 17 teams. The tournament was held at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky. The Saints finished with rounds of 328-320=648. Carmen Villaverde led the Saints and tied for fourth overall out of 99 golfers with rounds of 77-75=152.

Villaverde carded one birdie and put up 13 pars in her final round. Maxine Nesemeier finished tied for 23rd after following an 83 with a 76. She notched 12 pars and one birdie highlighting her card en route to her 159. Maggie King was third for Maryville after 83-85=168. Rachael Kell had two birdies in her final round and closed at 85-84=169, while Mckenna Chapman posting consecutive 86s to finish at 172.
 
Tiffin took the team title, scoring 312-305=617. Sabrina Coffman of Saginaw Valley State won the individual title at 75-69=144.
 
The Saints stay in the area and play in a tournament hosted by Findlay at the UK Big Blue course in Lexington, Ky., March 22-23.
