Cape Girardeau, Mo. – The Maryville University women's soccer came from behind to tie the exhibition match with Southeast Missouri State but could not combat late goals by the Redhawks and fell by a score of 4-1.

The Run of Play – The teams battled to a scoreless first half, thanks to solid defense by the Saints back line and five saves from goalkeeper
Katie Nash.

The Redhawks found the back of the net first with a goal in the 56
th minute. The Saints promptly answered only 90 seconds later when
Lily Boushelle threaded a ball down the right side for
Amanda Kaltwasser who tucked a shot past the goalkeeper to level the match 1-1.

SEMO broke the tie in the 72
nd minute and added two insurance goals in the 87
th and 89
th minutes to take down Maryville 4-1. Â
