Rachael Kell led the Maryville women's golf team in its 2021 season opener at the UIndy Fall Invitational at Prairie View Golf Course in Noblesville, Ind. The Saints posted a team score of 352-334=686 on day one. The par 72 course is playing a lengthy 6,201 yards.

Kell recorded 11 pars during her round and shot an 83 to pace the Saints in round one. She followed up with three birdies in the second round for an 82 and tops the team at 165.
Maggie King had the best round of round two and had a 78 and sits at 173. Freshman
Ivy Lai posted rounds of 90-83 to tie King at 173.

In her first collegiate round,
Tess Wallander fired an opening 86 that featured nine pars and finished the two rounds at 182.
Chloe Davidson, the third Maryville freshman playing, carded scores of 93-91=184.

Nationally-ranked host Indianapolis leads the way with a score of 299-291=590, while UIndy's Anna Kramer and Madeline Anathasane of North Georgia share the individual lead at 144. The Saints conclude the tourney Tuesday morning with a 7:30 a.m. CT start off the 10th tee.
