St. Louis - The Maryville wrestling team rolled to a 39-9 Great Lakes Valley Conference dual match win over William Jewell Wednesday evening. The Saints took eight of the weight classes on the night in Moloney Arena, and the Cardinals only won one match that was contested.
 
Anthony Pisciotta and Austin Wadlow both won by forfeit at 125 and 133 to start the match. Tyler Stegall notched a 7-1 decision at 149. At 165, Tanner Sparks posted a 5-2 win, while Dylan Shotwell picked up a 7-2 decision at 174.
 
Joey Williams also won via a walkover at 184, while Chase Stegall picked up a quick fall in 1:28 to claim his contest at 197. Ryan Herman claimed a forfeit win at heavyweight to end the night.
 
The Saints will return to the mat Sunday, Jan. 30, as they make the short trip to St. Charles to face Davenport, Drury and host Lindenwood in three GLVC duals.
