Liberty, Mo. - The Maryville wrestling team was shorthanded at the William Jewell Duals and battled with only seven competitors. The Saints were narrowly edged out in all three of their matches Sunday in Liberty, Mo. No. 21 Northern State defeated Maryville 24-15, Central Missouri downed the Saints 26-22, while Newman tripped up Maryville 32-19.
 
Highlighting the day for the Saints with 3-0 record were Anthony Pisciotta (125), Austin Wadlow (133) and Joey Williams (184). In addition, Chase Stegall (197) and Ryan Herman (285) posted winning marks at 2-1.
