KANSAS CITY – Maryville University men's soccer came in at 23 in the seventh United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll of the season. The Saints sit at 8-2-4 overall and 5-2-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
After an 0-2 loss at Lewis University last Friday, David Korn's team worked a closely contested draw on the road against eighth-ranked Indianapolis. The Maryville defense held the Greyhounds to just one shot on goal while sophomore keeper Simon Madsen picked up his first career shutout.

The Saints are joined in the top 25 by two other GLVC schools in seventh-ranked UIndy and 14th-ranked Illinois Springfield. 
 
The men have this Friday off but hit the pitch again on Sunday, Oct. 22, at Missouri S&T. The kickoff in Rolla, Mo., is set for 2:30 p.m.
