Sydney McCord is tied for fifth place overall after firing a season-low 75 to guide the Maryville women's golfers to fifth place after the first day at the Bill Crabtree Invitational. She recorded three birdies during her round and sits just four shots out of first place. The Saints posted a team score of 313 and sit in fifth out of the 15 teams at The Pearl Club.

Effie Perakis and
Chloe Davidson are second for the Saints and both are tied for 21st place after a round of 79. Perakis had a steady round of 11 pars, while Davidson notched a birdie on hole 15 to highlight her day.
Ivy Lai is one shot back at 80, and
Maggie King finished with an 81.
Jenna Clark came home at 86.

Ferris State has a one-shot lead over Drury in the team standings after a 303, and the Saints are only 10 shots behind. FSU's Kamryn Shannon and DU's Taryn Overstreet are tied for the lead after shooting one-under-par 71. The tournament concludes Tuesday with the second and final round in Owensboro, Ky.
