Elsa Nilson-Hurtig tallied both goals in a 2-0 Maryville University win over Truman State University on Friday afternoon. The sophomore from Stockholm, Sweden, now sits at six goals while the Saints improve to 9-1-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Run of Play:
- Elsa Nilson-Hurtig put the first shot on goal of the game at 7:19 and broke through with her fifth goal of the season at 8:47 to open a 1-0 Maryville lead.
- After a yellow card on the Truman State keeper in the 16th minute, Lexi Gentry took a shot off a free kick just outside the box but missed out to the top left.Â
- The game got delayed for nearly an hour due to weather with 3:55 remaining in the first half, but Nika Vemdal came back right away and forced TSU keeper Tatumn Damron to make a save at 43:37.
- Gigi Yurevich tallied her first save of the afternoon in the 61st minute on a low Avery Bohnenstiehl shot attempt.Â
- At 64:40, Nika Vemdal gathered a ball in the box and found Nilson-Hurtig for a header for the team's second goal of the game.Â
- Allison Estanich was denied on another shot attempt in the 86th minute and Hannah Kostelz closed out the game with a high shot attempt in the 90th minute.Â
