Murfreesboro, Tenn. – The Maryville women's golf team closed out its fall 2023 season with a fifth-place finish at the Music City Invitational. The Saints recorded a team score of 313 in the final round at The Old Fort Golf Club to finish the tourney at 629.

Effie Perakis topped the Saints and was T-11th overall with a final round of 76 and a tournament total at 154. She had a steady round with one birdie and 12 pars. A pair of Saints tied for second on the team and 21st overall at 158.
Jenna Clark carded an 80 on day two and finished at 158, while
Maggie King put up three birdies en route to a 77 and also a total of 158. She fired in back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15 to highlight her day.

Ivy Lai birdied hole No. 1 and recorded an 80 in round two to complete her action at 159.
Sydney McCord trimmed four shots off her opening round and had a two-day total of 166. Playing as an individual,
Chloe Davidson closed with a tournament total of 169.

Lincoln Memorial finished first in the 12-team standings at 606, while Hannah Holland of Carson-Newman was medalist at 145.
