Ashlyne Hunt's second game-winner of the year helped Maryville women's soccer to a 1-0 win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday. The sophomore received a pass from
Maddie Dickerman in the box to fuel the Saints' win on Homecoming.

Run of Play:
- Jada Holloman tested Maryville keeper Gigi Yurevich with a low shot on goal at 6:29.
- The Saints had their best scoring chance of the first half at 26:29 when Ashlyne Hunt found herself alone with the ball behind the defense. UMSL keeper Mary Kate Neal challenged her and denied the shot attempt to keep the game scoreless.
- Lexi Gentry took another shot a minute later off a free kick, but Neal jumped and made the save in the upper-right corner of the goal.
- Neal made another outstanding save at 38:12 when she jumped and declined a goal with her fingertips on a ball heading under the crossbar from Emily Doane.
- The Saints opened the scoring at 53:25 when Maddie Dickerman carried the ball up the field for more than 50 yards and found a wide-open Hunt in the box for a goal.
- Gentry had another good scoring chance in the box in the 77th minute but missed wide right. Sara Lawler followed up immediately after with a high shot but was turned away again by Neal.
- The Maryville defense finished off the shutout throughout the remaining minutes, allowing three total shot attempts.
