CHICAGO, Ill. – Maryville University bowling was selected eighth in the nation in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association Poll. The Saints were also chosen as the second-ranked program in the NCAA DII/DIII February poll, trailing only McKendree University.

Lauren Pate's squad moves up three spots from the December poll where they were picked 11th, sitting in between Youngstown State University at seventh and Sam Houston State University at ninth.

After taking all of December off, Maryville started January with a seventh-place finish at the Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic. They followed up with an impressive sixth-place finish out of 33 teams at the Northeast Classic in Deptford, N.J., and later took third at their own Columbia 300 Saints Invite on Jan. 30.

The Saints currently hold a 61-30 overall head-to-head record in 2022-23 and look to continue their recent hot streak at the Flyer Classic in Lockport, Ill., from Feb. 10-12.
