Nashville, Tenn. – Maggie King is tied for second place to highlight the Maryville women's golf efforts after the first round of the Music City Invitational at The Hermitage Golf Club in Nashville, Tenn. King carded three birdies, including on her final two holes, to post a score of 76. As a team, the Saints are in third place with a total of 317, just five shots out of first.
 
Jenna Clark and Maxine Nesemeier are second on the team and 12th overall after both shot an opening 80. Isabel Chaidez is one shot back at 81, while Maddie Vanderheyden finished with an 84.
 
The Saints are just five strokes behind co-leaders McKendree and host Trevecca Nazarene at 312. Martina Hicks from McKendree leads all individuals with a first-round 75.
