Coral Springs, Fla. - The Maryville University women's golf team ranked seventh in the nation and was recognized with the 2023 All-Scholar Team GPA by the Women's Golf Coaches Association of America. The Saints posted a sparkling 3.807 team GPA in 2022-23, which was the highest by any Maryville athletics squad this year.
 
Earlier, the Saints had five individuals garner the WGCA All-American Scholar honor. The women's golf team earned the 2023 Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic Award and all seven members of the team earned Academic All-GLVC honors this season. Maxine Nesemeier was selected for the GLVC Council of Presidents' Award for graduating seniors this year. Maryville is one of five GLVC women's golf teams to earn the WGCA honor in 2022-23.
