Carmel, Ind. - In its first tournament of the fall 2023 season, the Maryville women's golf team finished in 15th place at the UIndy Fall Invitational at Prairie View Golf Course in Carmel, Ind. The Saints carded a final round score of 340 and ended the tournament with a three-round total of 977.
 
Effie Perakis shot an 82 Tuesday morning and completed the tournament at 240, good for a tie in 56th place overall.
 
Maggie King shot 88 in the third round and finished at 246. Ivy Lai was one shot back at 247 and closed with a round of 83.  Jenna Clark ended the tournament at 253, while Sydney McCord came home at 255.
 
Findlay won the team competition at 886, while UofF's Mary Kelly Mulcahy took individual honors at 212. The Saints are back on the course Sept. 18-19 for the Drury Lady Panther Invitational at Silo Ridge Golf Club in Bolivar, Mo.
