ST. LOUIS – Maryville women's soccer wrapped up a weekend of conference play with a 7-0 win over Quincy University on Sunday afternoon. The Saints were led by four first-half goals and a two-goal performance from
Ashlyne Hunt.

Run of Play:
- Lexi Gentry started the scoring at 6:32 when she was awarded a free kick just outside the box and put it over the wall and into the top-left corner of the goal.
- In the 12th minute, after Maryville forced a turnover in the attacking end, Allison Estanich sent a perfect pass around the defense to Ashlyne Hunt who buried the shot for her first goal of the season.
- The score widened to 3-0 when Lotte Brands collected a corner kick outside the box and found Molly Krispin to deflect a shot into the top of the goal at 21:49.
- Lily Boushelle got in on the action in the 48th minute after a long cross from Tori Calvert gave her a one-on-one with the goalie which she converted for the Saints' fourth goal.
- Less than three minutes into the second half, Sara Lawler scored her first of the season by rifling a penalty kick opportunity over the goalie's head to extend the lead to five.
- Hunt used her speed to get behind the defense in the 54th minute, sent a shot off the goalie, collected the rebound, and scored her second goal of the game and ninth of her career.
- The final goal of the game was scored in the 89th minute by Nika Vemdal, her second of the season, assisted by sophomore Lauren Dickhut.

- This is the first time Maryville has scored seven goals in a game since Sept. 30, 2022, when they defeated William Jewell College 7-0 at home.
- Boushelle scored the first goal of her career in her 15th career game.
- Sunday was the second time in Hunt's career that she had a multi-goal game, with the last coming in a two-goal performance against Quincy on Sept. 25, 2022.
- Lawler moved into a tie for second in program history with her second career penalty kick conversion in the 48th minute.
- Lauren Dickhut picked up the first assist and point of her career in her third game at Maryville.
