ST. LOUIS – Maryville women's soccer lost 1-0 to the Drury University Panthers on Friday afternoon. The Saints lose their first game in the Great Lakes Valley Conference despite five saves from sophomore goalkeeper
Gigi Yurevich.

Run of Play:
- Drury got the first shot on goal of the game in the 12th minute when Elsa Gonzalez tested Maryville keeper Gigi Yurevich with a shot to the bottom-left side of the net.
- The Panthers had the better chances in the first half, logging three more shots on goal than the Saints, but were held scoreless through 45 minutes.
- Yurevich made her fourth save at 51:21 in the second half on Elena Perez.
- Drury got the first goal of the game off a corner kick when Elena Perez found Andrea Camargo for a header at 59:53.
- Elsa Nilson-Hurtig had several good chances in the second half ringing a shot off the crossbar in the 58th minute and was denied a goal by the keeper Kaitlin Knetzke at 83:22.
- Knetzke wrapped up a 1-0 Drury win and her fifth consecutive shutout.
