SAINT LOUIS, MO. – The Maryville University swimming squads fell to Saint Louis University in two matches on Saturday afternoon.
 
Devon Tallent finished second for the Men's team in the 200-yard Backstroke with a total time of 2:02.96. Hank Word tallied third in the 200-yard Freestyle event posting a time of 2:10.25. The men's team fell to the Billikens with a 30-227 final.
 
For the women's team, Hannah Doss finished fourth in the 50-yard Freestyle event with a total time of 26.74. Isabelle Calabio posted a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:00.30 in the 100-yard Freestyle. The Billikens took this match 23-232 over the Saints.

Next up is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Evansville, Ind.
