Jacob Fischer had eight kills and a .600 hitting percentage as the Maryville University men's volleyball squad swept Tusculum 3-0. Maryville won by set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-19 to extend its winning streak to 10 matches.

Maryville used two blocks to grab an early 4-1 lead. Kraft had a kill as the Saints scored five of the next seven points to stretch out its lead.
Cameron Lee followed with a kill, and
David Fleischer and
Cameron Chambers' block was good for an 8-3 edge. Fleischer put down a ball, and a TU error put the Saints on top 11-5. The Pioneers stayed close and cut the gap to 20-17. Lee and
Makai Scott put down consecutive kills, and the Saints closed out the set on a kill by Fleischer.

The Saints again scored four of the first five points in set two and held a narrow margin for most of the set. Kraft had back-to-back kills as Maryville's margin grew to 12-8. The Saints were still up but Tusculum trimmed the deficit to one at 20-19. Scott had a kill, and Chambers put down a crucial point for a 22-19 edge. The teams traded points until Fischer ended it 25-22.

Tusculum grabbed the early lead in the third set and held it until 14-13. Scott tied the set, and an ace by Kraft gave the Saints their first least of the game. The score was deadlocked at 16-16 before the Saints scored four straight and seven of the next eight points to take control Kraft started the run with a kill, and Fleischer served an ace. Back-to-back kills by Fischer were good for a 20-16 lead. After a TU point, the Saints tacked on three more kills for a 23-16 cushion. The Pioneers saved two set points but the Saints finally closed out the match 25-19.
