Normandy, Mo. – The Maryville women's golf team finds itself in 11th place after the first two rounds of the UMSL Spring Invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club. The Saints opened with a 321 and trimmed two shots in round two at 319 for a two-round total of 640. The tournament concludes Monday with 18 more holes of action.

Effie Perakis leads the Saints and is tied for 28th as she posted scores of 76-79=155.
Fernanda Diaz-Pizarro was an additional shot back at 156 after carding matching rounds of 78. She topped Maryville with five birdies on the day.

Maddie Vanderheyden went 82-81=163, while
Jenna Clark finished with scores of 85-81=166.
Ivy Lai came home at 87-84=171. Playing as individuals,
Maggie King shot 84-79, while
Chloe Davidson had rounds of 87-82.

Indianapolis leads the team competition at 577, while Mary Kelly Mulcahy of Findlay and UIndy's Anci Dy are tied for the individual lead at 139.
