Normandy, Mo. – The Maryville women's golf team moved up one position and took 10th place at the UMSL Spring Invitational at Norwood Hills Country Club. The Saints posted their best team score of the three rounds with a 313 and finished with a total at 953.

Fernanda Diaz-Pizarro shot a 74 in round three, which featured three birdies, and tied for 20th overall at 230.
Maddie Vanderheyden had an eagle in the final round on hole No. 17 en route to a team-best 73 and finished the tournament at 236.
Effie Perakis ended her tourney at 239, while
Ivy Lai shot an 82 in the third round to complete her run at 253.
Jenna Clark finished with a total of 253.

On the individual side,
Maggie King recorded a total of 245, and
Chloe Davidson posted her best score of the tournament with an 80 and finished at 249.

Indianapolis took the team title at 871, and Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulcahy shot the low score of the tournament at 210 to win by one shot. The Saints are next in action at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament April 26-28 at Oakwood Country Club in Cool Valley, Ill.
