INDIANAPOLIS – Maryville University baseball lost to the University of Indianapolis on Sunday and will rematch the Greyhounds on Monday for a trip to the NCAA Super Regional. The winner will move on to play Saginaw Valley State University in a best-of-three series.

The Greyhounds posted six runs in the first, but Maryville got two back in the second on RBI from
Jack Zebig and
Michael Gould. A three-run home run from
Elias Stevens in the fourth pulled the Saints to within one at 6-5.

Indianapolis responded with three in the sixth, two in the seventh, and six more in the top of the eighth. In the bottom of the eighth, freshman
Aaris Stolte drove in a pair of runners with a single up the middle and Gould followed after him with a two-run home run.

UIndy got one more run in the ninth and closed out a 19-9 victory to force a winner-take-all Monday matchup.
