CASEYVILLE, ILL. – For the fourth straight tournament,
Fernanda Diaz-Pizarro tied for first as the Maryville women's golf squad took fifth place at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Ill. However, the junior was edged out in a playoff for medalist honors. The Saints had team scores of 317-321-329=967.

Diaz-Pizarro finished the tournament at 74-72-77=223. She carded three birdies in both the first and second rounds. Diaz-Pizarro put up 13 pars in the second round. After tying for first through 54 holes, she and Lewis' Kendall Farm went to a playoff. However, Farm recorded an eagle on the first playoff hole to take individual honors. Diaz-Pizarro earned All-Tournament recognition for her three-round performance.

Kylie Yiengst posted rounds of 82-77-78=237 and grab a share of 10th place overall. She also recorded an eagle on hole No. 1 during her final round of the tournament.

Kelly Wang carded scores at 78-82-85=245, and a highlight of her tournament was an eagle in round two when she posted a three on the long par 5 third hole.
Chloe Fong came home at 83-90-89=262 to round out the scoring for the Saints. Lewis won the team title at 922.

The tournament was the final action for the Saints women's golfers in the fall schedule. Maryville will resume play in spring 2026.
