ELKART, Ind. – The Maryville men's and women's swimming teams saw their season come to an end at the Great Lakes Valle Conference (GLVC) Championships, at the Elkhart Health and Aquatics in Elkhart, Ind.
The GLVC Championships featured five schools in the top-25 of the country on the men's side, including two in the top five. On the women's side, the meet saw three of the top 25 participate. This year's trophy went to the Drury Panthers on both sides of the meet.
Wyatt Martin was the lone Saint to reach a finals event over the week for the Saints, earning a spot in the 100-yard breaststroke finals on Friday afternoon, finishing with a time of 57.78 in the finals.
Freshman
Khadija Moustafa was close to making it into the finals of the 100 freestyle, while
Karen Bistrain-Diaz was just six spots out of a finals appearance in the 100-yard backstroke.
