ST. LOUIS – More winter weather hitting the Midwest means more schedule changes for the Maryville baseball team as its seeing its home opener moved up.
 
The Saints' original trip to Springfield, Mo. for the Drury hosted invitational has been changed. The Saints will now welcome Saginaw Valley State into St. Louis on Sunday, Feb. 23, and Monday, Feb. 24, for a pair of doubleheaders. First pitch for Sunday is set for 12 p.m., while Monday's will begin at 11 a.m.
 
Maryville's originally scheduled game on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Central Missouri has been pushed back a day to Wednesday, Feb. 26.
 
Pat Evers' squad has also made some later season changes. Originally set to play at NCAA Division I SIUE on March 25, the Saints will instead play at Illinois Springfield on the same day, action starting at 2 p.m. On the same vein, the Saints have picked up a contest with UIS on Saturday, April 1, at home with first pitch set for 3 p.m.
