Men's Tennis Team Drops Spring Season Opener to William Jewell

The Maryville men's tennis team dropped its 2025 spring season opener at home to William Jewell by a 6-1 scoreline.

The Saints were victorious at the No. 3 doubles match as Michel Delaloye and Diego Alvarez won by a 6-3 score but the Cardinals took the doubles point by winning the other matches.

In singles play, Markos Prentits prevailed at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-4. However, he was the only Saint to garner a singles point.

The Saints next play Saturday, Feb. 8, with a match at Quincy.
