HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks won the faceoff to start overtime but the Maryville defense held and earned the next offensive possession. The Saints had two shots but neither found the back of the RU net. Rockhurst went a man-up but goalie
Dylan Radke made a key save to give the ball back to the Saints offense that led to the game winner by Chorlton.

The Hawks built an early 3-1 lead before the Saints steamed ahead with four consecutive goals. Simonson started the run, and
Colin Tobias followed with a goal.
Jake Grebe fired in a score to put the Saints on top, and Simonson's second of the quarter made it 5-3. Rockhurst ended the Saints spree but Simonson completed a first-half hat trick, and another goal by Grebe made it 7-4 at intermission.
Â
Rockhurst cut the gap to 7-6 before the Saints answered with three-in-a-row.
Ben Mickett sandwiched a pair of scores around another by Simonson as the Saints roared to a 10-6 advantage. The Hawks made a push but
