ST. LOUIS - The Maryville men's team hosted Walsh University, and the visiting Cavaliers won a close 4-3 decision Sunday afternoon at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.

Walsh narrowly won the doubles matches at both No. 2 and No. 3 to win all three contests to take the team point.

Juan Hernandez controlled his match and cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.
Juan Suero dropped his opening set at the fourth singles slot but rallied to take the last two 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Jack Quilty eased to a 6-3, 6-3 decision in the sixth position. The Saints were looking for one more singles victory but Walsh held on to take the match.
