ST. LOUIS – The basketball journey of
Gracie Stugart of Maryville women's basketball is not done. The senior guard out of St. Louis will head to Australia to be apart of the Toowoomba Mountaineers of the Queensland State League.

Stugart was of the nation's best passers, earning All-GLVC First Team Honors and D2CCA Midwest All-Region Second Team honors.

"I think a lot of hard work has led to this moment for her," said Head Coach
Brita Hand. "She's a kid that grinds every single day, you don't ever have to ask her to work harder, to buy in more. She's all about it, all the time, both feet in. So for her, it's really great to that hard work paying off, that trust, that belief in what we were doing and building in her game was going to translate to the next level as well."
Stugart leads the nation in assists with 228 and set school and GLVC records for assists in a season. She is the only player in all three levels of the NCAA who averaged at least 10.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists. As a point guard, Stugart led team in rebounding and tied for 5th in the GLVC. She also led the team in steals with 68. Stugart finished the season averaging 10.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.4 assists a game. In two seasons at Maryville, she climbed all the way to second place in career assists with 352 and finished her collegiate career with 560.

Stugart helped the Saints to 16 wins, including a 12-8 mark in the GLVC, and an appearance in the 2025 GLVC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship game.
