Lisson Wins Twice but Women's Tennis Drops Decision at Rockhurst

KANSAS CITY, MO. - The Maryville women's team traveled to Kansas City, Mo., but dropped a contest at Rockhurst by a 5-2 team score.
 
Victoria Lisson and Carolina Velazquez won their match at No. 3 doubles by a 6-3 count but the Hawks took the other two doubles matches and earn the team point.
 
Lisson continued her strong play in singles as she triumphed by a 6-2, 6-3 score line at the second slot. Isabella Alvarez won her match at No. 3 as she held on for a 6-4, 6-3 decision.
