LAS VEGAS – The Maryville women's bowling team capped off its season in Las Vegas on Friday, placing third at the UBSC Intercollegiate Team Championships. 




HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints, after qualifying baker backer action, were seeded sixth, facing Judson in the first round on Thursday. It was smooth sailing against Judson, seeing the Saints win 4-1. 

The winning kept coming, this time against the No. 3-seeded Pikeville Bears. The seed advantage didn't hold true as the Saints swept Pikeville 4-0. 

A close battle that just fell away from the Saints followed as they dropped a 4-2 result to No. 7 seeded Mount Mercy. Rallying back, another win, this time 4-1, against Pikeville put the Saints in the semis, where they fell against Mount Mercy once again, this time 4-0.
